My 2016 S-Class decided to have a meltdown this morning – came out to the garage and the front passenger side was completely dropped to the ground like the car was kneeling. Started it up and the compressor ran for ages but the car wouldn’t lift properly and the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree with Airmatic warnings. Managed to get it to raise eventually but now I’m paranoid driving it anywhere. Classic Mercedes air suspension failure from what I’ve read online. Really need to find someone who does proper Mercedes auto suspension assistance Dubai without the stealership prices. These Airmatic systems are complex and I don’t want someone learning on my car. Looking for a specialist who deals with these every day, has the right diagnostic computers, and can properly diagnose whether it’s the strut, compressor, or valve block. The car has about 110k km on it so probably due for some suspension attention. Has anyone here had Airmatic work done on their Mercedes recently? Would love recommendations for honest workshops that specialize in German cars and won’t try to upsell me on things I don’t need. Also curious about genuine vs aftermarket parts and what people’s experiences have been. This is my daily driver so need it sorted properly.
