Coolant disappearing but no external leak – worst case scenario?

I’m trying not to panic but I’ve been losing coolant on my 2011 BMW 335i for about two months now. I’m topping up the reservoir maybe every two weeks, and there are never any puddles under the car. No white smoke from the exhaust, no sweet smell in the cabin, and the oil on the dipstick looks normal not milky. I’ve had the cooling system pressure tested twice and both times it held pressure fine with no visible drips. A specialist told me the next step is to check for combustion gases in the coolant because that would indicate a very small head gasket leak that only opens up under high cylinder pressure. I’ve been researching proven head gasket abu dhabi shops that have experience with N55 engines because I know this is a big expensive job and I don’t want someone learning on my car. Has anyone here had a slow coolant loss with no visible leak that turned out NOT to be the head gasket? I’m really hoping it’s something stupid like a cracked expansion tank that only leaks when hot but I can’t find anything. Any ideas before I drop serious money?
