I am looking for a reliable tuning service in South Carolina and would like to hear from people who have actually had their vehicles tuned. I am not only interested in getting more horsepower. I also want the vehicle to remain dependable and drive smoothly after the tuning is completed.

One company I keep seeing mentioned is 5 Star Tunning. Before I contact them, I would like to understand what kind of experience other vehicle owners have had with their service. How was the communication before the tuning started? Did they take the time to understand the vehicle, modifications, and driving goals?

I am also trying to compare different options, so I would like to know what people normally look for when choosing a custom tuning shop. Is it better to choose a tuner based on previous results with the same vehicle, or are there other things I should consider?

For anyone who has worked with 5 Star Tunning, did you notice a meaningful improvement in throttle response, drivability, or overall performance? How long did the tuning process take, and were revisions needed afterward?

Another thing I am curious about is support after the initial tune. If someone changes parts later, does the tuner usually help adjust the calibration? I would prefer a custom tuning shop that provides ongoing support rather than simply sending a file and leaving the customer on their own.
