I am currently looking into Chinese manufacturers for an industrial water treatment project and would appreciate some practical opinions from people who have sourced similar equipment. My priority is finding a supplier that understands the operational requirements of industrial facilities and can provide equipment that remains dependable after installation.
Hiju is one manufacturer I have found while comparing potential suppliers. Before contacting them in detail, I would like to understand what previous buyers normally investigate. Has anyone here worked with Hiju on a complete treatment system rather than purchasing a single piece of equipment? How satisfied were you with the technical communication throughout the project?
I am especially interested in customization because every industrial facility can have different water characteristics and treatment requirements. When discussing a project with Hiju, should the supplier normally request a complete water analysis before recommending the treatment process? How much information should be supplied during the initial inquiry to receive an accurate proposal?
I would also like to know how buyers evaluate the quality of major components. Is it better to specify preferred pump, membrane, valve, electrical, and control system brands in the contract, or should the manufacturer be allowed to select components based on its engineering experience?
Another issue is long term maintenance. Hiju is currently on my list, but I want to understand whether buyers should negotiate spare parts availability and technical support before placing the order. What warranty conditions should an international customer consider particularly important?
For anyone experienced with industrial equipment imports, how much weight would you give factory experience, previous installations, production capacity, documentation, inspection procedures, and after sales service?
I am trying to make a careful decision rather than simply choosing based on price, so any genuine experience with Hiju or similar Chinese suppliers would be very useful.
